Engaged Sweeper

I have a ticket open with support but am not getting any meaningful forward movement on this so I'm reaching out here.

We have several network switches being scanned that have been in Lansweeper inventory / scanning since ~2019.

The switch firmware has not changed since then. We have been updating Lansweeper and are currently on v12.2.1.6.

Somewhere in the updates when we select the switch asset, the table of network interfaces stopped updating the connected asset / computer.

So for example, port 33 on the switch network interfaces will show Computer10. Computer10 no longer exists, is removed from AD, has been removed from Lansweeper etc.

If you search for and select the asset Computer23, the network settings will show it is connected to interface 33 on the mentioned switch.

The switch network interface table, even after re-scanning it, does not update interface 33 to show Computer23 being connected to it.

We've done snmp debugging with support and here's what I've reported back but they're insisting its a problem with the switch and to contact the manufacturer, that it's not a problem with Lansweeper.

OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.XX is the switches physical interface mac address, last octect incrementing with the interface number. In this case interface 33 has a mac address of 94 18 82 DB F9 1F

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.33 = "94 18 82 DB F9 1F" [ASN_OCTET_STR,Hex]

The problem is support is stating mac address 94 18 82 DB F9 1F is correct for port 33 and we somehow need to get it to update to be the assets mac address. Just to reiterate, this is the mac address of the interface number 33 of the switch and will always have this mac regardless of anything being connected to the interface or not.

Interface 33 and 34 increment as expected (just for informational)

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.34 = "94 18 82 DB F9 1E" [ASN_OCTET_STR,Hex]
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.35 = "94 18 82 DB F9 1D" [ASN_OCTET_STR,Hex]

What Lansweeper is reading incorrectly in the scan is:

This OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2 returns a value of the connected assets mac address (13.15.173.128) connected to switch interface 33

1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2.28.27.13.15.173.128 = "33" [ASN_INTEGER]

1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.1.28.27.13.15.173.128, Type=OctetString, Value=  1C 1B 0D 0F AD 80

1C 1B 0D 0F AD 80 is the correct mac of Computer23 connected to port 33 on the mentioned switch.

Has anyone experienced this issue on a similar version of Lansweeper? I've confirmed its happening on multiple switches across multiple locations of various models as well.
