Lansweeper detected the computer, but "Never scanned OS"
What could be the problem.
Some PC with WMI problem has no getting their OS scanned.
Please advice.
Those with WMI problems, do we need to solve the problem 1 by 1?
Is there anything thing that we can do without going to user place?

This problem is not really related to Lansweeper but you can check your dns server and the reverse lookup zones.

I actually encounter a problem.
For this step.
Try "ping computername"
Try "ping -a IPAddress"
Verify that these are correct.
When I ping the IP Address using my Computer (Where Lansweeper is residing), i got a different Computer Name.
When I try to do the same steps above on other Computer. It shows the correct result.
Are you able to advise why is that so?
I have check my WINS record and it shows the Correct ComputerName with IP Address.
I tried to flush my DNS record on my computer, but it doesn't helps.

See these links:

Most of the time it's a firewall problem which you can solve globally with a group policy.
