When we look at a PC we can see the switch name and port it is plugged into. When you drill down to a switch in the asset column it only gives a MAC address. is there no way to show the PC name? or link the MAC address back to a PC?
Should the issue persist, please contact us at support@lansweeper.com and provide us with screenshots of the Lansweeper webpages of one or more problem machines.
i have run the scan on PC's 3 times and two times on IP ranges for switches. some are starting to show up correctly but some are still not showing. i will continue to rerun scans and give it more time.
The asset name should already be listed. Could you ensure that you are running the latest Lansweeper 5.0 version and that your machines have been rescanned since the upgrade.
