I just tried to upgrade my Lansweeper installation from 5.1.0.54 to 5.1.0.60 and the install failed.
I then rebooted the server and now the service won’t run and I can’t get to the website.
When I try to upgrade, it sees it as a new install and wants to delete my existing database.
Please help.
The error I get when trying to start the service is:
---------------------------
Services
---------------------------
Windows could not start the Lansweeper Server service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
---------------------------
OK
The error I get when trying the website is:
Server Error in '/' Application.

Please contact support@lansweeper.com for upgrade issues. Note that an "invalid key" is a key we deliberately blocked because it's part of an order that was refunded. You may have asked us to refund a duplicate order and could be using the key of the order that was refunded instead of the key of the remaining order.
Your Lansweeper service will not start if you apply an "invalid key". To check up on the status of your order(s), contact sales (https://www.lansweeper.com/contact-sales/)

After working with support on this, I ran an advanced install and just installed the website.
The process is described in the KB article http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/50/How-to-reinstall-your-Lansweeper-website.html.
After that I was able to upgrade successfully.

Same story here....
Went from 55 to 60
Update never finished...
Now my server service refuses to start..
Have you checked your logs \Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service
Mine repeats
07/16/2014 11:47:11: 52860385 - Invalid Licence Key!
over and over again
Even though my site shows
Currently using: Premium - unlimited clients version
License valid until: 17/12/2014
As far as your issue not being able to reach the web console sounds like you have an IIS service issue...
I'd start looking there..... could have not been restarted when you applied the update.
