Understand the computer creates a profile when the machine is scanned via WMI from the LanSweeper server. I am tired of receiving emails and questions why I have a profile on their machines. I am repeatly receiving multiple calls from security, desktop support, and end users. Is there a way of using the local machine account to scan the computer's WMI?

Okay, we have come to the conclusion that the best solution for us to create a Resource Account with admin rights.

Setup alternate credentials for your domain and use something like ".\administrator" for the account (this only works if the password is the same on all computers)

Another possibility would be to create a new account "lansweeper" or something similar.

We are wondering how we can configure LanSweeper to use the local machine account like our SCCM Client to avoid the LanSweeper using our account names.

Windows automatically creates this profile when doing registry scans.
This is internal windows behaviour and cannot be changed.
