The following displays when trying to access the web console after the upgrade. I copied over the new files, keeping the web.config as directed. The web console worked just fine before this. Here is what is now displayed:

Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

So, everything is working now?

From last post on page one in case you didn't see it:

I got it, just blew out the permissions and added Everyone FC to propagate down to all child folders and files. I guess the copy from the zip file wrote over the existing permissions.

Thanks again for all your help!

Most likely C:\Program Files\lansweeper32\website\App_Code\Lansweeper.vb security is also wrong.
Make sure all subfolder inherit from the base folder.

Well, re-adding Everyone All FC for all the .dll's seemed to work, but now my login fails and that was based off the AD groups I added from before that used to work just fine. If I hit cancel during the login box I now get this:

Parser Error
Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\lansweeper32\website\App_Code\Lansweeper.vb' is denied.

Source Error:

[No relevant source lines]

Source File: /App_Code/Lansweeper.vb Line: 1

* Everyone FC is set to that folder and file.

Getting closer, any other suggestions? And I really appreciate the help!

Make sure the NTFS permissions on all your files (including subfolders) are set to everyone full control.
(this dll should be in the /bin folder)

Ah, here we go, perhaps you can work off of this:

Server Error in '/' Application.
Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Assembly Load Trace: The following information can be helpful to determine why the assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit' could not be loaded.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Sorry, I made a mistake, it should be "Off" instead of "On"
