Every time a computer is scanned, the service takes a look at the "waittime" for each section.
The Waittime is a number of days.
0 = 0 hours
1 = 24 hours
If the waittime for a section is set to 0 and the lsclient is triggered every 5 minutes (for some reason) then everything with a waittime with "lastscanned < now - waittime" is always scanned
A waittime of 1 means : scan every 24 hours (even if the scan is triggered multiple times during these 24 hours)
I'm not sure if this is an understandable explanation?
