We have a single label domain name in the company, I know, it's not a best practice but that's the way it is.
I installed lansweeper 3.5 with premium licence and I noticed that only about half the machines were inventorised.
I read about some difficulties with the 3.5 release regarding active scanning and I decided to install the beta version 3.5.1
When I now start the service the error log shows " domain skipped, does not look like a dns domain name"
I did not change the the domain dns name in LSmanage and and I added the netbios name as requested.
Any suggestion?
Thnx
Karl

OK Thanks for the swift response
I will try to revert back to the 3.5 version
When can we expect the final 3.5.1 release?
THNX

It is exactly as I quoted except for the fact that the word "domain" is in fact our domain name.
I think the problem lies in the fact that we dont have a .local or a .com or something like that.

Indeed, the routine checks for the availability of "." in what you entered.
(We can change this for the 3.5.1 final release)

Is there a domain shown between the quotes ''?
