I don't even know if the canned reports are designed to be sortable, but the Software Overview report seems to dump the software out randomly. It would be much more functional if I could sort by publisher to find Sun Microsystems, or by software title to find Java.
Even being unsortable would be okay if it was at least listed in some predictable way. As it stands now Sun Java falls between Research in Motion, and Adobe Systems.
Large portions of the list do appear to be alphabetical by publisher, but the first third is a mess.
