Hi Lansweeper,
So far so good with your excellent application.
I have come across one anomaly which you may or may not be aware of.

SQL Server 2005 Express edition is not appearing as it's full name, but is appearing simply as SQL Server 2005. As you probably know the express version is free and there is no need for a microsoft license. This lack of distinction therefore makes the license compliance option useless in respect to this product.

Please can you advise if this will be addressed in a later upgrade.

Regards,

Thanks. Is there then any way to manually configure results of the license scan?

Please find Word 2007 doc attached.

Basically I have installed SQL Express to my own PC as well and in add remove programs it appears as SQL Server 2005. But within the SQL Server Config manager the service is confirmed as SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS).
If Lansweeper picks up the details from the same place as 'Windows' Add/remove programs then I guess this is a winodws issue rather than a Lansweeper one. Is this the case?
Is there any way to manually configure results of the license scan?
