Hi,
We have a developer that is asking about SQL server usage. He said it looked like it was generating a lot of traffic. He thought it may be slowing down other databases.
Do you have any statistics for the default installation with that information.

These are within reasonable limits. We recommend setting your “Computer Threads” to 50 at most and your “IP Threads” to 20 at most.

For the Service options, we have computer threads set at 20 and also the IP threads set at 20.
Is that too much maybe.

The best way for the developer to monitor this would be to use the SQL server profiler tool.
This way he can see all activity performed on the database.

I'm not even sure. We have about 2000 device on our domain. About 1500 are pc's.
