In some environments we do not have SNMP or other access to switches for port data to be scanned by Lansweeper direct from the device. Where we do not have SNMP we sometimes have limited SSH capacity to gather data but the other process we use in this scenario is to run an LLDP scan direct from clients and save this data to the registry that Lansweeper then scans.
It would be great if in a future version Lansweeper did an LLDP scan on a client and recorded the port and switch data against the (Windows/Linux/Mac) asset that way.
