I've just installed LanSweeper, and want to scan all my network.
All the PC get this error, no´t the servers.
All PC are running Windows XPPro with SP 2
I've tried all the solution included fw checks.
All the services are running and are using administrator account.
Could anybody help me?

Wmi diag looks ok.

Other possibilities:
Dns resolves to an incorrect IP address.
Third party firewall blocking access.

Have you tried running this manually on the workstations:

netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin enable

I have just installed the free version to test it out. I am getting the same error, but only on XP PCs. Firewall is disabled by GP, but the error persists. Scans are OK on all my servers (win 2003 & 2008) and on Win7 laptops. I've been through all the WMI troubleshooting page 'fixes', but no joy. This is the only thing keeping me from parting with $ for the premium version.

Any suggestions?

Could you try stopping the firewall service on one of the computers as a test.
If this works then you are sure that it's a firewall related problem.
