took a while to find and I will readily admit that I am a useless manager attempting poorly to do system administration with no training, but I am learning. <-- scary I know.

The problem in my case was that RPC was controlled by GPO and could only originate from one subnet. That has been fixed and my RPC errors are now down to a small percentage.

please close this case.

Thanks,

any suggestions on how to upload the file? I took a screen shot and saved it from MS Paint as a file and tried to upload it from different places. no luck.

I have installed telnet on the server and when I telnet from the server to my pc "telnet plplap10 135" the screen goes blank and there is a cursor at the top of the screen.

If you have windows 7 or 2008 you will need to install telnet from add/remove programs windows components.
Is it possible to show the screenshot of the error page please.
