I have Lansweeper working ok on my LAN but I have another 3 sites that all connect via vpn. When the Client or Servers in the remote locations run LSClient.exe from their logon script they get one of these 2 errors:
009 26/07/2005 2:05:42 PM (NETWORKCLIENT) PC09.brisoff.local The RPC server is unavailable.
001 26/07/2005 2:05:57 PM (REGISTRY) PC10.brisoff.local The network path was not found.
This is happening on all components not just the ones I have listed.
We are running Win2k3 Standard & SQL2000, all clients are WinXPProSP2 and I have enabled the remote management exception in the windows firewall. I have also setup the LSService.exe to run as a service and it starts automatically.
As I stated previously all the clients on the LAN segment (192.198.0.0/24) work fine it is my other subnets that are having an issue (192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24, ect)
Thanks

You are using WMI for these properties.
In a default configuration you should have had authorisation for this.
You can try to view in "computer management\services and applications\wmi control\root\security"
local administrators should have full control

On another matter, I have about 5 random computers that are saying "Access is Denied". I think this is a problem with the computer accounts maybe, because if I try and run the GP RSoP I get an access denied error. Has anyone come accross this error with Lansweeper before?
Thanks again for the help Smikkel :lol

You have to be logged in to the domain for lsclient.exe to work
