I followed your recommendation, the service installed (asked for the database location, and I gave it the appropriate information), then during the "post install tasks" there were errors about "insert....", sorry, I thought I had screen printed it, but I didn't.
In any case, I figured that was due to the fact that the database is still on the previous version so some tables were missing. I then proceeded to perform the upgrade....still says the database is not installed.
Is there any way I can "manually upgrade" the DB? Using transact? I would hate to loose all of my data/configuration, I have put quite a bit of time in getting Lansweeper to work, and we all love and use it regularly.
Thanks

If yes:
Run the setup, choose new installation and choose only the service.
Afterwards run the setup and choose to upgrade.

During the first "upgrade" it got to the point where it had renamed the existing lansweeper database, and done something, and then was getting ready to copy new files, that is when it started with the CRC errors.
I checked to see if the database exists, and it does, so I am unsure as to why it is saying that it is "not installed"
Thanks,

1) take a full backup first.
2) stop the service
3) perform the upgrade
4) run the setup again, choose new installation and only install the service.
