Upgrade to 3.5 and move database to new sql server

I am trying to upgrade the product and move the database to a new server.

Old server is running lansweeper 3.2, new server lansweeper 3.5
Old server is running sql 2000, new server is sql 2005

I have detached the DB on the old, attached to the new.
Tried changing the lansweeper32.exe.config and web.config to reflect the new user and database name.

old server 3.2 has a DB name of lansweeper32, new server is lansweeperdb.

old server 3.2 had a sql user "lssqluser32" , new server has sql user "lansweeperuser"

So in short i have tried using both configs with the correct names above for each config file.. (changing host names, users and DB)

Currently I am using the configs that are installed with 3.5, I changed the DB or catalog to reflect the DB form the old server 3.2>

The new server has the 3.2 DB attached, I have added the lansweeperuser to this database and changed both config files to reflect this user from the 3.5 install. Below is my error when trying to open the old DB:

worked like a charm. my problem was i did a new install of 3.5. then moved the 3.2 DB. I had to download the 3.5 upgrade to get the sql script you mentioned. ran it on the old DB and all is good.

Can you direct me to a specific upgrade script?

Now run the sql upgrade script on your new database and it should work.
