I am in the process of changing from Windows XP 32 and 64 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. Every system I have changed over to Windows 7 will no longer automatically scan/inventory. They will only scan if I am in the web interface and force the scan to run. I know Lansweeper is working because my XP systems still scan without any problems. Does anyone know a reason why windows 7 systems are having issues?
Thanks...
My current Lansweeper version is 4.1.0.103

Thanks, I figured it out. It was a dumb type-o in the AD filters. The Windows 7 systems are in a new OU and I mistyped the name.
Lansweeper is working fine.

Check the dns/dhcp settings on your windows 7 clients.
Most likely they do not contact Domain controllers.
The event viewer might give a clue.

Which method of scanning do you use?
