I've a problem with the scanning. The server actually detects the PCs that are in in the iprange but it doesn't scan them. And I get the following error:
Access is denied 0x80070005 (PC_TESTSW, 192.168.100.142) Scanned by PROYECTO-LASNWE\lslocaluser
I follow what here http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/WMI-Access-is-denied.aspx says but it continues with the same problem!
Can you give me a solution?
Thank you.

I have the same problem "0x80070005 Access is denied" on some clients in my domain.
I have already followed the guide described in the link "http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/WMI-Access-is-denied.aspx" but without resolution.
I try the script to fix the WMI and the Microsoft tool but the problem continues to occur.
I also tried to remove the machine from the domain and re-add it, but the WMI error remain.
The clients are WindowsXP SP2/SP3 and the account that I use in the Lansweeper service is a domain account, set to don't expire.
If I launch the "connection test" I get this:
Remote WMI test
-----------------------------------------------
Found: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
\root\cimv2 Remote WMI access test OK
Remote Registry test using WMI
-----------------------------------------------
Found: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3
\root\default Remote WMI access test OK
someone has a solution?
Thanks

You are scanning the computer with account PROYECTO-LASNWE\lslocaluser
Is this a domain administrator or administrator on the computer that you want to scan?

If workgroup: is the account "PROYECTO-LASNWE\lslocaluser" administrator on the computer?
