Engaged Sweeper
I setup Lansweeper a few weeks ago, and had everything working nicely. Now it seems as though I am getting RPC errors on my workstations. Nothing has changed since I set up the system.

I ran the Connection Tester all 3 ways, and all 3 tested OK.

Netsh firewall show state is as follows:

Firewall status:
----------------------------------------------------
Profile = Standard
Operational mode = Enable
Exception mode = Enable
Multicast/broadcast response mode = Enable
Notification mode = Enable
Group policy version = Windows Firewall
Remote admin mode = Enable

Ports currently open on all network interfaces:
Port Protocol Version Program

23 TCP IPv4 (null)
80 TCP IPv4 (null)
135 TCP IPv4 C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\inetinfo.exe
137 UDP IPv4 (null)
139 TCP IPv4 (null)
138 UDP IPv4 (null)

1900 UDP IPv4 (null)

DCOM is enabled. COM security allows for remote access, remote launch and remote activation.

The System Log on the Lansweeper server has a DCOM Event 10009, that DCOM was unable to communicate using any of the configured protocols.

Did you change your password? If so, go into your bring up the properties page for the Lansweeper service and update the password under the Log On tab

Was there a change in your network somewhere (natting, ...)
Is the problem resolved when you restart the lansweeper service?
Do you seen any errors in the errorlog.txt
