Is there a way to add custom fields to installed software? I have the need to track who the owners are for software.
Is there a way to report on web apps? as in applications or site that are installed as a site in IIS.
Can this scan AIX systems?
Can is scan for applications installed on WebSphere Application Server?
For help on setting up these and other items, do have a support service that we can contract someone to create custome reports?
Thanks
Chuck

The only way to manually add software data is through the license compliance module found under Licenses/Edit Purchased Licenses. More info on this module can be found on page 139 and beyond of our online documentation: http://www.lansweeper.com/documentation.pdf
Software data scanned for Windows computers mimics what can be found under Add/Remove Programs (Programs & Features).

This information is not currently scanned unfortunately. This feature is on our customer wish list, but we do not have a release date for it.

Yes, *nix based systems are scanned using SSH.

Please contact support@lansweeper.com for technical support. If you're interested in building custom reports, we would ask that you review some SQL tutorials first, as the Lansweeper report builder uses standard SQL queries. We provide support for building custom reports, but within reason. When we implement the next version of our website, we will be limiting support for building custom reports (and adding a user-maintained report center instead).

Anyone else have any ideas?
The free MAP Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit can do this. But it lack a lot of features that Lansweeper has.
Thanks
