When I click on a network switch it will show the MAC address of the device connected.
I want to identify what is on this port, so I add a new asset. Give asset name, IP, same MAC Address, etc.
It will then add it, but when it tries to rescan I get an error:
New scan found 0 MAC addresses, the existing record has 1. Check your SNMP and SSH connections
After x amount of days the asset will become Non-active. If I lock the MAC Address field then it scans with no errors.
These devices do not have SNMP or SSH enabled.

You need enable SNMP on said switch and configure SNMP key. Then map creds with the range or workstation.
