One big wish for future development is the option to add licence keys that are not currently installed on computers. This helps during audits so companies can see how many keys they have freed up or currently not used even if the software is not installed on computers. Would be really useful for us.

The feature you are describing - adding license keys without having the software installed on computers - is already possible through Lansweeper. Please do the following to add license keys for software that's not installed yet:
  • Click the Licenses tab of the web console.
  • Hit the Add New License button to create a license item. You can create an item for a software that hasn't been scanned yet by choosing a scanned software package, submitting it and then changing the software name afterwards.
  • Click the Orders tab on the right and hit the Add Order button.
  • Fill in the required information, including the License Key field at the very bottom.

If you submit your license keys in the Licenses tab, you could even build a report under Reports\Create New Report that indicates whether or not these license keys are actually found on your computers. You'd need the tblSublicensesOrders and tblSerialnumber tables for this.
