Hi.

I've been using Lansweeper for a while now and am overall very happy with it.
One thing that I've just noticed though, that may or may not have been a problem since first setting them up, is that my static Asset Groups are misreporting the amount of members within the group.
For example, I have created a group called "Student Desktops". In the dashboard it shows as having 192 members. If I click on the link there, it takes me to the listing for those 192 machines.
However, if I navigate to Asset Groups under Configuration, and I then select my "Student Desktops" group, it is showing 243 members. I've tried taking out members from this group of 243 and re-adding them to see if they will then appear in the Dashboard group, but it didn't work.
It isn't just happening to this group. All my other customised groups are reporting different numbers in the Dashboard view than in the Configuration\Asset Groups view.

Any help appreciated.

Kind regards,

Dan

Most web console pages will only show assets which are in state active while if you hit Assets, you will see all assets, including the ones which are not in active state.
Asset can be put into non-active state by one of the automatic cleanup options or by manually changing the asset state of assets.

Nice one Daniel, that fixed it.
I rescanned after ticking the option "Automatically make non-active assets active when they are scanned" and it's picked up all the 'missing' ones.

Thanks very much.
