Asset Summary Page, Cisco Discovery Protocol

I have many computers that show the switch that the asset is connected to at the bottom of the asset summary page and then others do not show this.

If I take two computers that are connected to the same switch I have one that shows the Connection and others on the same switch that do not. I'm not sure but I believe this relies on CDP to gather the switch information. I do have CDP enabled on all of my switches on all ports.

Any idea why this might be happening and Any idea how to fix this?

This is great information to have but hit or miss results don't tend to be so valuable 😕

Make sure the switch is scanned by Lansweeper when the asset is connected to the switch.

A common problem is that some switches are only scanned at night when no computers are online.
