Engaged Sweeper

Hi,

I can see all the Azure servers on Lansweeper, but not the software for each server?

Anyone else having this issue?

Hi @annthomson

When you scan Azure VM's using the Azure scanning target, software isn't scanned as it's not published on Microsoft's Azure API.

If you want to add software to your Azure VM assets, you can either:

- install an LsAgent on them and have them share the results using the LsRelay (see https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/scanning-your-network/introduction-to-lsagent-for-windows-linux-...) or

- ensure the Azure VM's IP addres can be reached by one of your scanning servers (public IP or IP via VPN (see https://medium.com/@shannmuka/mastering-network-infrastructure-in-azure-design-for-on-premises-conne...)) and use IP range scanning target (with correct credential) to scan the software on the asset.
