Can you convert USB devices into assets?

I have some things like receipt printers, scanners, and even USB laptop docks that we'd like to track as assets. Is there a way to automatically track/map these as assets or do I just need to use SQL queries to grab USB devices by specific names?

Hi @bdleedy 

The USB devices will be scanned but only when they are connected and turned on at the time the asset they are connected to is scanned.

You can use the built-in report "Windows: USB connected devices" to track to USB connected devices.
