Creating Custom Asset and page custom tabs?

1.I am trying to figure out where to go to customize the Asset page layout. I would like to add and rename a comments section to Maintenance notes as a separate place for me to track this information.

2. Also wanted to see where I would customize information that is displayed for a Non Scannable Asset under the summary.

Are these possible?

Customization of existing pages is currently not supported. There are 2 things you could try, but both require some knowledge of c#.net:

• Create a custom widget. More info here.
• Create an entirely new web page with the required options and put it in the Lansweeper\Website\customdata folder. Then make an asset action (render as hyperlink), which goes to that page.
