Engaged Sweeper
Hi all

Recently purchase LANsweeper license and was installing it into our VM
But I was told by my application colleague that I may need to purchase MS CAL licenses.
Looking at 2500 assets

Can anyone advise me whether LANSweeper scanning and storing information into SQL DB , required us to buy MS CAL licenses ??

Regards
Joseph

Looking through our support history, this question has never come up. We're not entirely familiar with Client Access Licenses, and while your Lansweeper server does potentially set up remote connections to an SQL Server's services, we doubt that you'd need to buy a CAL specifically for using Lansweeper in your network.
