I'd like to know if i can modify a Dynamic Asset Group fields so that every time a newly detected assets is automatically added to this dynamic group, it gets some predefined fields.
Example #1
A dynamic group called "HP 2920 switches"
If manufacturer is like "hp" AND model is like "2920", automatically add hp2920.jpeg to the picture field.
Example #2
A dynamic group called "Handpunch"
If manufacturer is like "Kronos", automatically put "HR" in the Owner field.

Thanks!
I think that would be a great feature! Can you add it to the wishlist?

Dynamic asset groups will only group assets, they can't be used to perform changes.
The only option I see is to create something custom. For example schedule a job in SSMS to run a query daily on your database that checks if assets in a dynamic group have the fields filled in, if not, fill them in.
The picture won't be possible to automate since it isn't stored in the database. It is stored in the Lansweeper folder with the assetID as the name.
