Just as an FYI for everyone else, I'm pasting the reply sent via email below.
Your Lansweeper database is hosted in the SQL Compact database server. SQL Compact can't handle large data volumes well. Your database is locking up trying to delete the asset's event log information.
Could you clean up your database by following the instructions in this knowledge base article and see if the issue persists. If the issue is resolved, but returns after a while, you may need to move your database to SQL Server, by following these instructions. SQL Server is more powerful and offers better performance.
