Hi,
we are using the new version 5.2.0.22.
OS Windows 7 64 Bit
In the changelog is a notice about added iis Exprees 8.0 for 64 Bit machines.
Problem:
After update to the new version, the old iis express version C:\Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\IISexpress will still be used.
How is it possible to change to the 64 Bit version C:\Program Files\IIS Express?

Hi,
sorry.
Solution found.
•IIS 8.0 Express doesn't run as a service or require administrative privileges to perform most tasks
When you install IIS 8.0 Express on a 64-bit system, both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of IIS 8.0 Express will be installed respectively in the "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\IIS Express" and "%ProgramFiles%\IIS Express" folders.
So i think, there is no problem at all.
sorry.

When you open up taskmanager, do you see the IIS express running with a (*) at the end.
If yes: it's a 32 bit process, if not: it's a 64 bit process.

Hi
IIS 8.0 is located in C:\Program Files\IIS Express.
This version was installed by the update process.
But the working IIS Service for LANSweeper is the IIS 6.0 in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\IISExpress\IISexpressSVC.exe" and that´s the old 32 Bit Version

In which path is IIS 8.0 located?
The IIS express service is not related to IIS, it is a custom made service by us.

iis express 8 is installed and i can see it in add/remove programs. That´s ok.
to restart the service doesn´t fix the problem, because the installed service still directs to the "old" path
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\IISExpress\IISexpressSVC.exe"
This path was not changed by the update.

Do you see IIS Express 8.0 installed in the add/remove programs?
In which folder is the executable located?
Can you try restarting the IIS Express service (it should pick the 64 bit one if it is installed)
