Would like to be able to mark articles either for the Techs or for the Users. That way it would be an all encompassing KB storage. Currently someone would have to maintain 2 knowledge base systems.

Please check the menu: knowledgebase/knowledgebase options.

You can set permissions on all categories for agents/teams and end-user visibility
