I installed Lansweeper fresh over the weekend. Scanned our assets and tested everything, seemed to be working fine.

This AM the was working OK but performing specific tasks started to cause the webpages to freeze.

Now the system is practically unusable. After a reboot we can log in OK but clicking on any item results in a freeze.

I was able to disable scanning but no help. we only have about 200 assets and less than 100 tickets.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

With a fresh install, this is indeed an unexpected behavior. It would be better to contact Support to look into the specific case. Please send a mail to support@lansweeper.com. Include also these logfiles:

  • Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Errorlog.txt

  • Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\App_Data\web_errorlog.txt

Thanks FrankSc... yes I have opened a ticket but they have yet to respond to me.
