Can we have a short list of the features of new version and when it will be ready as a beta?

I've read that there isn't the possibility of IP scan of printers, routers and switches: why? I think there are lots of users interested in this feature.
We are thinking about implementing this.
And what about the possibility to "chose" what to scan and what NOT to scan? I'm interested to scan very quickly just some hw and sw items; is it a problem to make this "change"?
Next version will have a "-1" as waitingtime to avoid scanning certain items.
