I have only just come across this issue - ignorance is bliss until caught out.

I also note that the Philips serials with DL#/AU# also have omitted characters.
E.g. Serial starting with AU1... actually on the monitor as AU1A...

Is there anything being looked at more recently for Lansweeper to automatically resolve these correctly?

This issue is being handled via email. Incorrect monitor serial scanning is caused when vendors don't store their entire serial in one field in the registry, but rather in a combination of fields. The exact arrangement of characters differs between manufacturers and even monitor models. We are able to hardcode fixes for this but it's on a model by model basis.
