We have some network devices which are using mDNS and SNMP.. The mDNS hostname is generated by the system and is not changable. It seems that Lansweeper is scanning mDNS after all other protocols and sets the AssetName to the mDNS name.
Is it possible to either prioritize the naming or to disable mDNS-scanning for an IP-range?

Unfortunately it is not possible to disable mDNS scan or to ignore the name, but it is a good suggestion. We invite you to contact our Support team and open a feature request for it.
