Is there functionality in Lansweeper Sites similar to the OID mapping under Asset Mapping in Lansweeper Classic?
I recently discovered that some of our newer Fortigate firewalls (Fortigate 60F) were being incorrectly identified as FortiWifi devices in both Lansweeper Classic and Sites. Discovery is being provided solely via the on-prem install, and I was able to re-identify via the OID mapping there. However, despite ensuring the data had been rescanned and resync'd to the cloud site, the devices continue to be incorrectly identified on the cloud side. And I haven't found any way to correct them there.
Is there a way to correct this type of mis-identification on the Cloud side? Or do I need to open a support ticket to get it added to some future MIB update process?
Just curious. Raising it here as I expect others are going to run into this kind of issue as well.

Hello @StillGoing,
At this time, custom OID configuration is not available in Sites. I know the team is working to bring more functionality like this into the platform for next release (roughly May to June).
If you have the On-Prem installation in place, you can do the custom configuration there and the results should be properly brought into Lansweeper Sites.

Thanks for the update, Tim. I had suspected as much, and am eagerly waiting for this functionality in Sites.
As for your final statement, that unfortunately is not the case. I have updated this information in our Lansweeper Classic deployment, and it does show up correctly there. Unfortunately, the same assets continue to be mis-identified in Lansweeper Sites.

Until this identification issue can be resolved, it makes it difficult to feel confident that we are getting correct information in our Lansweeper Site.
