Hello Team.

I have two networks separated by a firewall and the firewall administrator has opened the following ports for my lansweeper software:
service-object udp destination eq snmp
service-object tcp destination eq 9524
service-object tcp destination eq 135
service-object tcp destination eq 445
service-object tcp destination eq ssh
service-object tcp destination eq https
service-object tcp destination eq 9100
service-object tcp destination eq 8443
service-object tcp destination eq 8080
service-object udp destination eq netbios-ns
service-object tcp destination eq domain
service-object udp destination eq snmptrap
service-object tcp destination eq netbios-ssn
service-object udp destination eq netbios-dgm
service-object icmp
service-object icmp echo
service-object icmp echo-reply
service-object tcp destination eq 161
service-object tcp destination eq 137
service-object tcp destination range 49152 65535
service-object udp destination range 49152 65535
service-object tcp destination range 1025 5000
service-object udp destination range 1025 5000

However, when I scan a host it shows me an error: RPC Unavailable.

What other port should I open?

Thank you

Enzo.

When we first started up our Lansweeper server, we were getting the same error. Going through this guide helped resolve the problem for me: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/troubleshooting-scanning-issues/the-rpc-server-is-unavailable-0x....

Hello Rinks.

When I run the ConnectionTester application, the VMI tells me Access is denied.

Checking the firewall, I'm seeing through a debug that Lansweeper is requesting to open ports in the 20,000 range. I want to know exactly which ports I need to open?

Thank you.

Hi, Enzo,

The ports that Lansweeper uses can be found here: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/requirements/ports-scanned-or-used-by-lansweeper/ta-p/64273

There's also a guide on checking the port status on a pro-tip article here: https://www.lansweeper.com/blog/pro-tips/ports-status/

Hopefully these help.
