Our Current Implementation:92,623 Assets
Scanning Infrastructure- 23 Scanners for Regional Offices
- 4 Scanners for Data Center Locations
- 18 Local Instances of Lansweeper for security controls (Installed on the same server using a custom registry entry to allow more than one lansweeper service to run on the same server.
- 1 Lab Scanner for development/testing
- 1 Web Server for Application Request Routing
- 2 Web Servers for Load Balancing
- All Scan Servers report to a Central DB
40,000+ Active clients
11,000+ Servers (Windows, Linux, Unix)
350+ Unique locations (currently all USA)
Regional offices have physical servers, while the Data Centers, SQL Server, and Web Servers are virtual.
We have SQL hooks created for SCCM and Remedy databases to copy data over to the Lansweeper custom fields.
We use almost every feature and have done some custom coding to enhance some of those features. In addition, we have created over 15 custom scripts (Powershell) that are part of the Basic and Advanced Actions.
At this point, almost all of the included reports have been heavily modified, and we have also created nearly 480 custom reports.
Future plans include better role based access control to assets, integrating data and events with Splunk, and importing information from Bit9.
