"Express Code"-Field

Hi,

If we scan our server with the lspush it reads the Dell "Express Code"-Tag and displays it in the Lansweeper GUI.
But if we want to enter this Tag manually it is nowhere to be found on the asset edit-page, is that correct?

Wouldn't it be possible to let users edit this field so we don't need to use a custom field when we need to enter it manually?

You're right, there is no way to manually enter the Dell Express Code. This is because the Express Code is just a calculation of the serial number, and Lansweeper will always use the serial number to display the Express Code.

If you manually enter the Serial Number manually, Lansweeper will also display the calculated Express Code.
