Reg_Binary Scanning - Some working, some not

I have seen the posts about reg_binary not being supported.

I'm not trying to decode the value but just match the encoding to determine the difference which assets are tied to an old parameter. When setup to scan, about 40 of the 450+ assets came back with values but the others didn't.

Any ideas on why the different behavior?

The different behavior might be due to several things, the most probable being a different registry path for the value or a different encoding. You can find more information on how scan registry values here:
