We recently used Lansweeper to install the AutoCAD 2018.1.1 update (patch) and then discovered that it breaks an important feature we use quite a bit. As you can imagine, we would now like to remove it. However, since it's a patch, it doesn't show up in Programs and Features but instead appears in Installed Updates. I haven't been able to find any of the installed updates in order to select them for removal.
Is this possible with Lansweeper?
If so, how is it done?
I've searched the forums and help topics and they only speak to installations. I did see references to the uninstall tool which I installed but quickly discovered that there is some WMI problem that prevents it from running on remote computers. Not to mention that this feature is no longer supported.
So... how do you remove (uninstall) a software patch using Lansweeper?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
M Babich

This highly depends on the software itself. However, you will have to create a deployment package to uninstall the patch.
General guidelines for creating a deployment package can be found here: https://www.lansweeper.com/kb/category/21/Deploying%20software%20and%20other%20changes.html
You will have to look up how you actually silently uninstall the patch and what commands can be used. I'd recommend searching on the adobe forums or contacting their support directly.
To try and get AutoCAD into Lansweeper, you can do a custom file scan. If the file scan doesn't give you the correct version, you can also see if you can get that information with a custom registry scan. Information on both can be found in the links below.
