The scanning of software license keys does require you to have an exact registry location of the key. If you can't find it I would recommend contacting the Nuance or searching online.

I'd recommend going through this knowledgebase article which explains how to scan software license keys.
https://www.lansweeper.com/kb/132/viewing-and-scanning-software-license-keys.html
If you get stuck somewhere or have any specific questions, just post something again.
