Hi all,
we are in process to implement a tiering model in our Active-Directory. So we have to create seperate lansweeper scanning acoounts for each tier. (Domain-Controller Tier, Server Tier, Client Tier, etc.)
These tiers are managed by ActiveDirectory OUs.(Computer accounts will be moved to tier OU)
Is it somehow possible to map these scanning account to the respective OU? At the menu "Map Credential" it is only possible to map to a whole domain.
I found out that the credentials are not needed once the agent is installed, but we also use lansweeper for deploying software, so unfortunately the agent doesn't help us.
regards

You have to use mapping credential on IP or Windows (name or domain) level.
There is no per OU computers mapping.

Thank you for your reply, this will work.
It's not the ideal solution (because we have 80+ servers), but it works.
