I've been hunting and tinkering for a few hours, but I can't seem to find an answer as to whether this is possible.

I manage IT for a nonprofit, and would like a pretty 'minimal' help desk for end users once they log in to report or check on a ticket. Is there a way I can choose what 'tabs', etc. they can view? The closest I have gotten is limiting their role/permissions as much as I thought I could (they can't see assets, etc.). However, this still lets them view Dashboard (I'd prefer to hide this), Knowledge base (this is fine to keep, though curious if I could hide it), and a few tabs with basic ticking info ("All tickets", etc.).

In order to maximize the interface for the variety of computer skills I have in end users, being able to make things really basic looking would be wonderful (rather then having to teach people to "close the dashboard tab", etc.). Is this possible with lansweeper?

I presume you are talking about helpdesk users here and not agents.

You can remove the knowledgebase for regular helpdesk users. If you navigate to Knowledgebase\Knowledgebase Options, there is a checkbox at the top for "Disable knowledgebase for regular users".

The helpdesk visual look can be changed in Configuration\Look & Feel, however, removing the dashboard tab is unfortunately is not possible. I will however create a feature request for it on our customer wish list.

Nevermind. This is resolved for now. I had a test user that i was working with to preview what helpdesk users would see and I had at some point 'accidentally' made them an agent, so I was not looking at the correct interface for helpdesk users.

Can I customize the dashboard tab widgets for end users (at least as an initial default)?
Can I customize which "ticketing" tabs show for end users (at least as an initial default, "All tickets", "My tickets", etc.).
Can I limit helpdesk users ability to edit the tabs? Or will they always (currently) be able to add and remove tabs and widgest?

You are correct, I meant users not agents. Thanks for reading between the lines.
