But I done this and it worked great. Except that when the servers where re-scanned the Description field data was all wiped. As this is a cell with those lock icon beside it. How can i prevent this from happening again if I re-import my descriptions.

You need to set the field "descriptionlock" to "1" in tblassets after importing the data.
