As documented LS scans many protocols: Bonjour, DNS-SD, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, JetDirect, mDNS, SIP, SMTP, SNMP (SNMPv1, SNMPv2 or SNMPv3), SSDP, SSH, Telnet, UPnP, WMI.

I can't find all fields for all protocols. Why LS scan it but not store?

So I want to create report to list assets with opened port.

But if asset is Windows then LS doesn't store port scanning info.

So I don't see HTTP, HTTPS, FTP... on the Windows Servers.

So I can't detect and show cybersecurity issues.

*Ignore Windows not checked in IP scanning targets.

Hello Mister_Nobody,

The ports are indeed scanned and tested. This is mainly to identify the assets and which protocols we try further for scanning. Which ports are opened or closed is at the moment not saved to the database or anywhere else.

This has been requested in the past by other users as well. At the moment it has not been deciced if and when we may implement this.

I think that:

  1. If Ignore Windows not checked in IP scanning targets then IP scanning must scans network ports as usual and adds info to assigned Windows Assets.
  2.  If Ignore Windows checked in IP scanning targets then IP scanning skip Windows assets.
