I give up on this error, if the system is on the same subnet no error if it on any other subnet RPC error, Yes all the ports are open on the switch and firewall.  any input why this happens we use the LS push on systems i don't think using the LS agent  will fix this.

Did all that and i can only scan a systems on the 10.99.1.1 subnet and nothing on the 10.100.1.1. - 10.100.40.1

Old Network admin was a subnet nut, we have about 40+, and no plans to fix it anytime soon, he put every 3 server subnets 7 PC subnets 7 camera subnets 7 printer subnets 3 AIX/UNIX  subnet 10 Wireless subnets  and 1 VPN subnet

The new admin complains about it every day

Between subnet may be acl's.

Also you can add ls scan server or ls server interface to another network
