Hi,
I would like it to be possible to define during the installation process the database name.
This is because we've got 1 central SQL server and have defined a policy on how te name the database.
So that just by looking at the database name we know witch application connects from where to that database.
Regards,
Lvv

Changing the database name is not yet possible.
We do not support connecting to the database with AD user accounts, as this might break our updates.

Exactly ! , I yesterday installed first time lansweeper and this was a huge problem for us , we have a lot of secuirty restrictions/policies to names, ACL's users etc , and installer should allow to specify :
MSSQL user name (not only internal SQL user , but AD user too like: DOMAIN\lansweeper.mssql ,
MSSQL DBNAME : MyOWNDBname
Tick to select - run lansweeper service as : -> NETWORK SERVICE/LOCAL SERVICE/
specified account -> and here you can enter : DOMAIN\lansweeper.ad.admin
etc
